That’s great that you want to start a podcast. Your story sounds like something a lot of people would be interested in. I could go really deep into this, but essentially, you only need three things (assuming your already have a computer):

1. A microphone
2. Audio editing software
3. A podcast host
   
   Here’s what we recommend.
   
   1. A microphone. We use two relatively expensive Shure SM7b microphones (https://amzn.to/3kaDfqF). A cheaper but effective alternative is the Samson Q2U.
   
   2. Audio Editing Software. We use Logic Pro X, but Audacity is free.
   
   3. A podcast host. We love BuzzSprout! Use our link to sign up for a plan and we both get $20.
   
   Beyond that, YouTube tutorials will help you along the way for the technical things. Personally, I think podcasting is much easier than making videos. I hope that helps!
