Security of Information
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from you from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
Analytics, advertising measurement and your choices
We use Google Analytics to understand visits, retreat enquiries and paid deposits, and Google Ads measurement to understand whether an advertisement leads to an enquiry or deposit. Google can receive browser and cookie identifiers, device and network information, your IP address, measurement choices, limited page and campaign information, and details of the measured action. Ad measurement can use advertising click identifiers. An enquiry uses a random receipt reference; a deposit uses a stable order reference, product information, the qualifying deposit amount and US-dollar currency. Deposit measurement does not report the full retreat price or later balance payments.
We do not send names entered in forms, email addresses, telephone numbers, their hashes, payment-card details or form-message contents to Google for this measurement. We do not use Google Signals, advertising personalization, enhanced conversions or Customer Match for this implementation. To avoid counting the same enquiry repeatedly, our server uses a private keyed hash of contact and form information for a duplicate check that expires after 24 hours. This hash stays on our server; only the unrelated random receipt reference can be sent to Google.
Privacy choices lets you control Analytics and Ads measurement separately. With no saved choice, these purposes may start by default when a current country check identifies a US visit. For other countries, or when the country cannot be determined, they remain off until you allow them. Global Privacy Control and supported Do Not Track signals override optional measurement, including a previous permission. If current measurement permission cannot be confirmed, new measurement is paused. Rejecting measurement does not prevent an enquiry or booking, and your email-marketing preferences remain separate.
To apply this regional treatment, your browser may request an approximate country result from our existing Cloudflare service before measurement is enabled. Cloudflare receives the ordinary IP address and connection information needed for that request. The request omits cookies, login credentials, referrer information, and campaign or contact data. The site holds the country result temporarily in browser memory. For the optional enquiry duplicate check, our server may also compare the connection IP address with an existing country database on the server. That check uses no separate geolocation service and adds no storage of the IP address or country result. Existing hosting and security logs are separate. These approximate checks do not establish where you reside.
An explicit privacy choice is remembered for up to six calendar months; ordinary visits do not extend it. A choice that is still present but has expired or cannot be validated does not authorize measurement. If your browser removes the choice entirely, including when its cookie expires or is cleared, the site treats you as having no saved choice and applies the regional treatment again. This means the US defaults may apply again unless a supported browser opt-out signal is present.
When Analytics or Ads measurement is permitted, we can associate the site’s local campaign and advertising-click information with a retreat enquiry or booking. A random identifier stored in a secure, site-only cookie lets our server make this association. The local association can include the enquiry or order reference, the permitted campaign or click information and the original visit time. The cookie identifier and this additional local association are not sent to Google. The association expires no later than 30 days after the oldest visit record it uses; ordinary visits do not extend that deadline.
Saving a new privacy choice retires the previous local association. Withdrawal requests deletion of its local campaign history. A minimal identifier record can remain until the original expiry to prevent an in-progress request from restoring retired history. Scheduled maintenance removes expired records. If our system cannot confirm permission or complete the required storage checks, it pauses new local associations. Database backups, if maintained, may contain older copies under the applicable backup retention arrangements; deleting the active association does not immediately delete backup copies. Booking and payment records remain subject to their separate operational purposes.
Our separate local campaign and click-attribution records expire 30 days after the oldest stored visit used by that record. We configure first-party Google measurement cookies on spanishandgo.com for a 30-day lifetime without renewal on ordinary visits. Google may also request measurement cookies on its own domains, including google.com and googleadservices.com, with different lifetimes, including 90 days. Whether those cookies are stored depends on your choices and browser settings. Our 30-day setting does not control cookies on Google’s domains or how long Google keeps data it has already received. Browser settings may shorten storage or remove it earlier.
Google’s retention is separate from these browser-storage periods. Our Analytics settings use two months for event data and 14 months for user data, with new activity restarting user retention. These controls do not set the lifetime of standard aggregate Analytics reports. Google Ads reports follow Google’s own retention rules. Booking, payment and operational records are governed by their separate purposes and the other parts of this policy.
You can change or withdraw a choice through Privacy choices. Withdrawal stops new measurement events sent by our site code and removes the first-party measurement storage this implementation manages. Our site cannot read or delete cookies on Google’s domains; you can manage those through your browser settings. Withdrawal cannot recall requests already sent or automatically erase earlier Google reports, order records or other operational records. These controls cover the Google measurement and attribution described here; they do not replace the separate disclosures for affiliate, mailing, payment or other services in this policy. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact [email protected].
